I'm not going to add any more to the existing commentary as we're all fully aware of the challenge businesses are facing in the current situation. Instead, I'm going to talk about what Converge is going to do.

Recently, I had a chat with my fellow "Convergers" and decided to change how you access Converge so we can tangibly help as many of you in the business community as possible. That means from today, we'll be opening Converge up for free to any B2B business until at least July 1st.

That means no cost at all. Zero.

Here’s why:

Content marketing has always been important, but perhaps now it’s more important than ever.

While we know that businesses are likely to tighten marketing budgets given the current circumstances, we also know they need to continue marketing to survive and come out the other side of this with their business still intact. It’s a 'Catch-22' situation for many and we want to do our part to help businesses get out of it.

So what will we do?

As stated earlier, we’re going to make Converge free for any and all B2B businesses that will find it beneficial to share their content with a large and engaged, global business audience. We want to mitigate the impact this virus is having on as many businesses as possible - even if it’s just a little.

Note: Converge will always be free for anyone wanting to consume the advice you’ll find on the site.

Converge was set up to help businesses share great content with the world. Content that has an impact. Content that shares practical advice or candid opinion. Content that provides value.

I’d say we need more of that kind of content now than we have done for a long time. Converge has a massive global reach, so we know we can put your content in front of people that are looking for it. We’ll share it via our syndication partners, we’ll share it with our influencer network, we’ll share it on social and to our email subscribers.

We’ll do everything we can to get it seen.

The only thing we ask in return is that you only share content that’s making an impact. And in return you’ll continue to build awareness of your company as well as trust and authority in your brand.

To put it simply - we DON’T want your sales messages (nobody does). We DO want your advice and your opinions. We DO want you to share your webinars and digital events. We DO want you to share your resources.

What else?

We’re looking at ways to set up regular content marketing webinars and produce resources to help businesses create great content in the first place. We’ll try to offer as many of these for free as we can.
